My name is Kathryn B. Carroll, I began K. L. Tile Murals in 1992. I am a native of Tom's River, New Jersey and have been living in South Florida since 1984.  I have over 15 years of experience creating custom hand-painted ceramic tile murals, and have been painting for over 25 years. 

We have 2 sons Sean (21) and Steven (12), 2 labs Dixie (black) and Max (yellow), an Australian Shepard puppy named Taz, and a Siamese named Shycon. We moved to Wellington, FL., in 2004 it is a beautiful area in Western Palm Beach County. The Fort Lauderdale area was just getting too congested. 

 Since the move our menagerie has expanded. Now each morning I get to enjoy my inspirational new friends. Each morning we get about 50-60 Florida mallards looking for their breakfast of cracked corn. We have a flock of Ibis that mill about and aerate our lawn on a daily basis. Bluejays, Cardinals, doves, squirrels and a colony of about 50 beautiful wild Monk Parakeets dine together on a feast of ever present sunflower seeds. Our local fishermen (aside from our boys) include egrets, white & blue herons, night herons, and a limpkin on its daily search for snails. A family of Anhingas perch in our Australian pines drying their wings after a morning of fishing, and there are a couple of 3 to 6 foot gators in the canal behind our home that keep the myriad of local ducks on their toes.  Over the last few months we have added a beautiful pair of Osprey to our list of fishermen and a pair of red winged hawks just moved into the area so the doves and momma duck really have to be aware.  A barred owl also drops by from time to time to entertain us in the evening.  Recently we added a new arrival, an otter.  Our little wild life habitat keeps evolving.
